Media Violence Debate

Directions:
You will answer the prompt below and the questions that follow it (after reading/annotating the texts) by putting your answers on ANY shareable online format (whether it be Google Docs, Google Presentation, Prezi, Glogster, Popplet, Wallwisher, Sliderocket, etc).  Be thorough and clear in your answers.  Read ALL texts and answer the following questions... (due when you leave this afternoon!).  Annotate how you see fit.

We will share these during our full class discussion on Friday... aka tomorrow!  Comment below if you have questions.

Prompt:
  1. IS FICTIONAL VIOLENCE TRULY A CATALYST (aka connected reason) TO PROMPTING REAL-WORLD VIOLENCE? (discuss a lot of evidence to support BOTH sides)
In addition... answer these two questions in your final product:
  1. WHAT IS YOUR CONCLUSION/OPINION AND WHY? (based on the texts you've annotated)
  2. HOW CAN YOU EFFECTIVELY DEFEND YOUR OPINION WHEN OPPOSING VIEWPOINTS EXIST? (this one's based on your own opinion),

Text Sets:
(note - you do not have to annotate the video or infographic sources, but it will be beneficial for you to write important info down on paper or on a Google Doc)
